The two trim levels available for the 2011 5-Series are the 535i and the 550i. The base 535i gets its power from a turbocharged 3.0L inline 6-cylinder engine that makes 300 hp and connects to a 6-speed manual. At the top of the 5-Series lineup is the 550i. The 550i is powered by a big turbocharged V8 making an impressive 400 horses. Both the 550i and the 535i have options for automatic transmissions.
Each trim level of the 5-series comes standard with an audio system, alloy wheels, rain sensing wipers, leather, power adjustable seats with memory, power sunroof, and antilock brakes.
