Advantage BMW Clear Lake believes it is better to show you all of our financing plans so that you may choose the one that best fits your needs. Listed below is a brief description of the options we show you when considering a purchase with us.
Leasing allows you to drive a BMW while keeping monthly payments low. When you lease, you pay only for the amount of the vehicle's value you use during your lease rather than the vehicle's entire value. At the end of your lease, you can turn in your BMW and lease a new or Certified Pre-Owned BMW, re-lease or refinance (subject to approval) your current BMW for another term, buy your BMW at the price set forth upfront in your lease agreement, or turn in your BMW and walk away.
Owners Choice financing combines the lower monthly payments of leasing and the security of ownership. You make low monthly payments for your selected term then reach a 3-way option point:
- You can get a new BMW and sell your BMW back to us at a predetermined price.
- You can refinance the balloon payment amount.
- You can complete your purchase by making the balloon payment.
Owners Choice is a good alternative if you reside in a state where leasing is less advantageous due to state tax laws.
Traditional financing allows you to buy a BMW and pay for it monthly over a term of up to 72 months. You may not be required to have a down payment (based on credit). Just as in buying a vehicle with cash, your name goes on the title. When the loan period ends, you become the owner.

Please note that you will enter the estimated annual percentage rate you anticipate is appropriate for current standard lending rates and/or your personal credit situation. The rate you enter is not indicative of rates available from BMW FS. Please discuss available rates based on your credit, area of the country, and other factors with your BMW Center.
For our clients who have their own financing available, the interest rate is very important. Often times, our relationship with BMWFS may not be the only option. We have established relationships with other lenders which only help us to stay competitive when comparing interest rates. Our additional options for lending institutions widely range from large nationwide lenders to smaller local institutions or Credit Unions to ensure our clients the most competitive interest rate. In most cases, we are successful in meeting or beating any available interest rate that our client may have offered through their sources. In any case, it is just one more way that we keep our eye on our clients best financial interests.
