BMW Electrified this Year’s Los Angeles Auto Show
At last month’s Los Angeles Auto Show, BMW showcased several electric vehicles to highlight developments made in the company’s commitment to offering 25 electrified vehicles by the year 2025. In addition, show attendees were fortunate enough to witness the world debut of the special edition BMW M3 C S.
The electric vehicles that were highlighted at the show include the i Vision Dynamics all-electric Gran Coupe that can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds and register a top speed of 120 mph. Featuring a driving range of 373 miles, this emission-free four-door marries the core BMW values of elegance and dynamic driving with the innovation of electric mobility.
The BMW i3s is a new version of the BMW i3 that delivers a more powerful, sportier version the compact battery electric vehicle. Featuring an electric motor capable of making 184 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque, the i3s has a top speed of 100 mph and can dash to a 0-60 mph time of 6.8 seconds.
Not only were showgoers treated to the premiere of the M3 C S, they also got to check out the BMW 8 Series Concept, BMW X7 iPerformance Concept, 6 Series Gran Tourismo and the BMW M5.
