Kelley Blue Book Reviews the 2018 BMW 7 Series
An automotive expert from Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com recently reviewed the 2018 BMW 7 Series, noting that the flagship sedan maintains the performance nature that separates it from the competition while still delivering the craftsmanship and comfort you expect of a luxury vehicle.
One of the reviewer’s favorite features of the 2018 BMW 7 Series is the display key fob that includes a small touch screen that provides remote control of the vehicle’s security systems and access to monitor maintenance schedules, fuel levels and range. There’s even a Remote Control Parking feature that allows you to command the BMW to park itself — while you’re outside the vehicle!
Each 7 Series model has its own turbocharged powertrain, so it’s easy to differentiate between them and find the one that best serves your driving situation. A 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder powers the 740i, while a 4.4-liter V8 moves the 750i and generates 445 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. The Alpina B7 xDrive features a 4.4-liter V8 that produces 600 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, and the M760i xDrive boasts a 6.6-liter V12 that makes 601 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. Lastly, the 740e xDrive hybrid pairs a 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a combined output of 322 horsepower.
